== Milner's Claims == Milner's The Echols Family History claims the following: Note that claims explicitly that the John Echols who traveled to America was in fact the same John who married Mary Cave. However, this does not align well with the "John Ecles" from Genealogy: A Journal of American Ancestry in 1635. Richard Echols, son of this John Echols, did married a "Catherine Evans" (sometimes spelled "Katherine") which matches "Caty Evans" per Milner.
