No. 74 Sir Richard Cave to Sir Thomas Rowe, Privy Councillor and Garden, 20 August 1641. Gives news about Parliament, the Scots and the affairs of the Elector Palatine. Site William Barckly "goes governour for Verginia, he hath quitted his desyre and interest for Constantinople and hath incouraged me to fall uppon it."

No. 99 Details of proceedings in Parliament from 30 August 1640 to 5 September 1641. The only item of interest is a petition from certain London merchant to the House of Commons, which was received on 30 August. In this petition the merchants asked to have ships well provided with munition and provisions, sent to America and Africa "whereby wee might possess ourselves of the riches of those countryes."
