Electus T. Echols
| Born | January 6, 1845 |
| Died | June 9th, 1935 |
| Parents | John Washington Echols and Lucy Anna (Satterwhite) Echols |
| Spouse | |
| Children | J. T. Echols, E. H. Echols, Obie H., Echols, Mollie Matthews |
Summary
One of his sons, Obie, was born in 1896 (Birth certificate: Obie Echols). This retroactive birth certificate lists his son's name as simply "Obie Echols"; however, Janice Echols Gorman believes his middle name may be a misspelling of "Holloway". A middle initial of "H" is provided in a "Echols, Obie, H." census record in the 1930 United States Federal Census for a man in Arkansas with parents born in Alabama (1930 Federal Census, Arkansas).
